John is a Chartered Tax Adviser, the premier Irish tax qualification of the Irish Tax Institute. He is also a Chartered Management Accountant with broad commercial experience.
He has advised on a wide range of tax matters for over fourteen years and he has lectured on taxation at university level.
He has particular interest in advising on the tax treatment of offshore funds, the remittance basis of taxation for foreign domiciled individuals and the application of Ireland’s network of Double Tax Agreements.
John has served as member of the Professional Affairs Committee of the Irish Tax Institute and its Branch for Wicklow.
John also speaks French and German. He’s a fountain of knowledge for all things tax related (and also Roman and Greek history in case you’re interested!)
