Stephanie is an award-winning international and expatriate tax specialist with over a decade’s experience. She is a KPMG trained Chartered Tax Adviser and Chartered Accountant (CA ID – 30176).
Stephanie is one of those tax professionals you need in your life: she grasps complex technical concepts and explains it in a way that is clear and easy to understand. Her knowledge of tax not only crosses geographical and jurisdictional borders, she is across many aspects of tax that would typically be covered by different segments in a larger professional practice, including income tax, corporate taxes, capital gains and inheritance taxes. She is comfortable analysing cross-border tax implications including the ability to use double tax treaties.
Stephanie’s manner is highly professional and personable. In her spare time she enjoys cycling, running after her three young sons and foreign holidays (Covid-permitting!)
“I have been an expatriate myself when my husband and I lived in Australia so I fully appreciate how stressful it can be trying to navigate taxes in a location you are not yet living in, or have recently moved to.
I have also worked with globally mobile employees and expats for many years and I understand how stressful moving internationally can be – even returning to your home country can be stressful. Without the right help, taxes can add to the headache. That’s where we come in.
At Expat Taxes we work to take the headache out of taxes for expats. Our philosophy is simple – we aim to explain complex tax legislation in a friendly, straight-forward and easy-to-understand manner. We enjoy working with our clients to ensure they take advantage of all available reliefs and exemptions to minimise tax exposure insofar as possible. We offer tailored advice specific to each client.
If you want to understand more about your obligations when moving to Ireland, moving overseas from Ireland or investing in Ireland – please let in touch. We look forward to working with you.”
